I’ve been working with Charisse now for a few months, and physically seeing the changes in my skin is so much motivation to continue my treatments with her at ClarityMD! My last two visits were focused on the Diamond Glow treatment and extraction, and the Collagen P.I.N. microneedling treatment. Diamond Glow is a new, non-invasive skin-resurfacing treatment that simultaneously exfoliates to uncover renewed skin, extracts to deeply cleanse and remove debris from the pores and infuses the skin with rich serum……all at the same time. After just one treatment my skin looked great. I can best describe it as a steam cleaner for the face! Even with my facial hair this treatment was really effective across my entire face.

Charisse finished our session with manual pore extraction across my nose where my pores are most visible, and even went behind my ears where I tend to have excessively clogged pores. After one day it was clear my pore visibility was greatly reduced.
This particular day I was running a little late for my appointment today, but she was still accommodating and made me relax and settle in for a great treatment!

My most recent visit was by far the most interesting and intense. Charisse recommended this treatment to help heal the acne scarring I’ve had on the sides of my face that were remnants of the severe acne I had as an adolescent. Collagen P.I.N. addresses pigmentation, scarring, texture, fine lines and stretch marks by allowing for controlled induction of the skin’s self-repair mechanism by creating micro-injuries in the skin. This process stimulates new collagen production, resulting in smoother, firmer, younger-looking skin. Charisse let me know that I will have sun-burn like redness after the treatment but will diminish over time. I finished the day with a cooling mask allowing me to relax for 20 minutes and received a great shoulder massage by Charisse at the end of my appointment. I think most guys may not consider a treatment like this. However, I also think there are many men, particularly in their mid-40s like myself, that have lived with the scars of acne from their adolescence. Now knowing that there are non-invasive options to improve our skin is something we as men need to take advantage of!
